Book sale and more on October 11th:
Our seasonal book sale returns to the library this October after three years, and we are very excited to offer even more this time. There will be a wonderful selection of adult fiction and children’s books, non-fiction, DVDs, and CDs. Patrons looking to add to or build their own home libraries and AV collections will not leave disappointed. Additionally, thrifters will have a great time looking through gently used seasonal decorations, household items, toys, games, and odds & ends at our Thrift Shop and thrifting tables. Items are also great for repurposing projects!
We have a few visitors lined up for your enjoyment throughout the day:
To kick off the book sale, patrons can purchase a beverage from RI Food Fights Iced Coffee Winner 2025 Maria Maria Coffee Bar. Their indoor coffee cart will be at the library entrance from 9am until noon.
Creative Chica Jennifer Rolfsema will be twisting balloon creations for kids and the kids at heart from 10am until noon.
The most famous waterfowl in New England, Dawn the Duck, will visit the book sale from 1pm until 2pm. Be sure to stop in to take your picture with her!
